Harringtons also have 8 liquor stores in Christchurch. ==History== Harringtons's Breweries was founded by John and Val Harrington in 1991.〔 〕 The first beer was brewed on 15 July 1991 at the Old Wards Brewery site on Kilmore Street, Christchurch. Demand soon exceeded supply and in 1993 they moved to their much larger and current location in Ferry Road Christchurch. Today Harrington's brew over 25 styles of beer, including seasonal beers, ciders and an alcoholic lemonade. The brewery spans 3 generations of the Harrington family and remains 100% owned by them.
